Jacob Eisenberg is an Associate Professor at UCD’s College of Business in Dublin, where he has been teaching on internationally high-ranked masters programs. Jacob’s PhD in Social/Organizational Psychology is from Colorado State University (USA). He lectured in Asia, N. America and Europe and his teaching was recognised through the 2007 UCD School of Business Best Graduate Teaching Award. His research on Organisational Behaviour, Creativity and Cross-Cultural Management appeared in leading academic journals and books and attracted best-paper awards in several international conferences. Jacob engaged in training and consulting with various organisations, including IBM, ICON, Microsoft, ALMAC, Davy, Irish Prime Minister’s Office and Sport Ireland. As an accredited business & executive coach, he has coached managers and executives from various industries. Jacob served as Academic Director of the Smurfit School MSc Business Programmes, UCD’s largest Masters program and held multiple visible leadership roles in international academic associations. Jacob took part in organising international conferences as well as non-profit local grass-root festivals. To balance his intellectual pursuits, Jacob hikes with a fast-paced group in the Wicklow mountains, facilitates meditation groups and men’s circle, travels to remote places in Asia, harmonises his mind and body through improvised and free-style dancing, Aikido and mindfulness practices.
