Alex De Koning is a PhD student in Green Hydrogen Production and for the last year and a half has been one of the main spokespeople for Just Stop Oil. He has been delivering the message of the urgency of the climate crisis and the toxicity of new oil and gas in over 60 national and international interviews including with Euronews, BBC World at One, Dazed, TRT World, and Japanese and Nigerian TV. He has occupied oil pipelines for 40 hours and continues to put his freedom on the line because what he feels that that "the work we do as researchers is meaningless if the government is not willing to use the solutions they already have".
